National attention drawn by Guru ka Bagh

The discipline of Guru ka Bagh drew national and international attention and public tributes from Mahatma Gandhi, Madan Mohan Malaviya, Swami Shraddhanand and C. F. Andrews. Andrews, who witnessed the beatings, wrote an account that was widely quoted and was instrumental in shifting British opinion.
